AED CONSTRUCTORES in Memphis, TN is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a Skilled Nursing Facility. Under the supervision of an OT, you will help patients regain independence in daily living activities after illness or surgery.

Qualifications

Active state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Minimum of 6 months of recent COTA experience within the last 5 years preferred.
Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an OT.
Guide patients through therapeutic activities focused on improving daily living skills.
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT.
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment usage.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and progress.
Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
