AED CONSTRUCTORES is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support a Skilled Nursing Facility in Vacaville, CA. You will work under an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence in daily living activities after illness, injury, or surgery.

The role emphasizes geriatric care within a Skilled Nursing Facility, with a focus on therapy plan implementation, patient progress, and caregiver education to enhance recovery and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in California.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum of 6 months of recent COTA experience within the last 5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Guide patients through therapeutic activities focused on improving daily living skills.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and proper use of equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
