Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The role includes documenting patient progress and ensuring care aligns with established goals in a long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate holds a valid COTA license, has excellent patient service skills, and collaborates effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid COTA license and registration for the state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of the OT.
• Experience in long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Document patient progress weekly in progress notes.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
