Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver patient-centered treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will follow individualized goals, document progress, and communicate effectively with the care team in a long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate has an active COTA license, strong documentation skills, and a commitment to professional patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid COTA license/registration in the state of practice.
• Experience providing comprehensive treatment under OT supervision preferred in long-term or geriatric care.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to update weekly progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under OT supervision.
• Document patient progress weekly and maintain timely records.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Demonstrate professionalism and punctuality in all duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Rehabilitation Director.
