Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver patient-centered therapy under OT supervision. You will implement treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a long-term care setting.

Ideal candidates hold a valid state license as a COTA and have experience in geriatric or long-term care, with strong documentation and professional patient service skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Document patient progress with weekly progress notes.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of OT.
• Provide treatment by adhering to goals developed by the OT.
• Provide feedback to supervising occupational therapist via documentation or facility policy.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
