Neuralink is seeking a Senior Accountant, Cost and Manufacturing Accounting in Austin, Texas. You will establish and lead the cost accounting function for a vertically integrated manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate costing, traceability and robust internal controls while partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Software teams.

You will also support external audits, develop accounting policies, and design ERP-related cost capture processes as manufacturing scales.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience and GAAP research.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or higher.
• Experience with inventory, product costing, and COGS in manufacturing.
• Ability to research unsettled questions and document conclusions for audit.

Responsabilités

• Build and own cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations and Software to translate product build into cost data.
• Define requirements for inventory valuation and cost capture in ERP systems.
• Research complex U.S. GAAP matters and document technical memoranda and policies.
• Design and document internal controls over financial reporting for manufacturing processes.
• Maintain standard costs and analyze manufacturing variances and COGS reporting.
