Job summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is hiring a Cost Optimization Project Manager for a remote role. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.

You will lead cost savings initiatives across procurement and manufacturing, partner with Manufacturing, Engineering and Finance to translate priorities into projects, and deliver executive-level updates with clear progress, risks and financial outcomes. Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel or Google Sheets is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent
• 5–10 years of project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Experience in interconnect, cable, harness, or connector manufacturing preferred

Cost Optimization Project Manager

JSG is hiring a Cost Optimization Project Manager for a REMOTE role. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.

Salary range: $110K-$140K DOE

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience: 5–10 years of project management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience in interconnect, cable, harness, or connector manufacturing is strongly preferred

Reporting

• Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Procurement Project Manager will lead the identification, execution, and delivery of company-wide cost savings initiatives as well as other strategic and operational projects that support supply chain objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance to translate strategic priorities into executable projects and measurable business outcomes.
• Owns upward reporting and visibility of cost transformation initiatives, ensuring leadership has clear, timely insight into progress, risks, and financial outcomes.
• The position is highly execution-focused, with accountability for governance, delivery, and executive-level communication.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel or Google Sheets

Analytical Rigor

• Demonstrated success leading cost reduction initiatives with a strong ability to interpret complex data and financial impacts

Communication

• Excellent verbal and written skills, including the ability to deliver executive-level presentations
