Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join our team for a large-scale life sciences and advanced manufacturing program in the Greater Philadelphia area. You will deliver cost management services across multiple capital projects, guiding planning through closeout with a client-facing approach.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction-related fields and 3–5 years of relevant cost management experience, with valuable regard for RICS accreditation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field.
• 3–5 years of cost management experience in the construction industry.
• RICS accreditation or working towards it is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Advising client on strategies and vendor prequalification, evaluating proposals and bid documents.
• Developing project estimates for construction, fees, direct costs and other expenses.
• Managing cost reporting, budgets, forecasts and commercial risk registers.
• Overseeing cost control, change orders, payment applications and contract disputes.
• Monitoring invoicing and final accounting processes.
• Conducting post-contract reviews and lessons learned.
