Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC (SSE) seeks a Cost Estimator (Mid-Level) to support the 647 Civil Engineering Squadron at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The successful candidate will develop and validate cost estimates for construction, repair, maintenance, and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited U.S. institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant cost estimating, construction, engineering, or project-related experience.
• Experience developing cost estimates for facility, construction, repair, or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to interpret project scopes, drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and strong written/verbal communication.

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC (SSE) is a government contracting and consulting firm supporting military installations and federal agencies across the nation. SSE is seeking a Cost Estimator (Mid-Level) to support our ongoing mission with the 647 Civil Engineering Squadron (CES) at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.

The Cost Estimator will support project planning and programming efforts by developing and validating cost estimates for construction, repair, maintenance, and infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop detailed cost estimates for construction, repair, renovation, maintenance, and infrastructure projects.
• Review project scopes, drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation to determine labor, material, equipment, and other project costs.
• Prepare and maintain cost estimates throughout various stages of project development.
• Validate cost data and ensure estimates accurately reflect project requirements and current market conditions.
• Support project planning, programming, budgeting, and prioritization activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, planners, and other Civil Engineering personnel to clarify project requirements and assumptions.

What You Bring:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution within the United States.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant cost estimating, construction, engineering, or project-related experience.
• Experience developing cost estimates for facility, construction, repair, or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to interpret project scopes, drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to successfully complete the required Tier 1 background investigation and obtain/maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).

Preferred:

• Experience developing cost estimates for military or federal facility and infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Air Force Civil Engineering project planning, programming, or cost-estimating processes.
