Job summary

Tutor Perini Building Corp. is seeking a Cost Engineer to join our project in Pocola, OK. The role focuses on cost analysis, budgeting, and cash flow, collaborating with project managers and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost management.

You will prepare reports, support procurement and change orders, and maintain cost controls within established systems. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management plus 3–5 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or construction management discipline preferred.
• Three to five years of experience inCost engineering or a related area.
• Proficiency with procurement, cost reporting and construction terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare spreadsheets and cost analyses, cash flow and related evaluations.
• Conduct studies to develop cost reduction processes.
• Coordinate cost-related issues with PMs, CM, designers, subcontractors and vendors.
• Maintain cost control procedures and prepare cost, commitment and cash flow reports.
• Analyze and participate in negotiation of change orders and invoices.
• Support project accounting, cost management, procurement and expediting systems.
