Qualifications

• 5+ years in cost control, cost management, or financial reporting roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong time management and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with budget management software and tools.
• Understanding of building sequencing and project scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Fortis Cost Control Manager, PMs, Engineers and Accountants to support cross-functional cost control.
• Lead project setup ensuring contractual compliance and proper cost structure implementation.
• Prepare monthly spend forecasts incorporating schedules, change orders, and risk logs.
• Review Subcontracts for accuracy and required flow-down language.
• Participate in month-end close, including billings, revenue recognition and labor projections.
• Provide quality control for financial processes including WBS alignment, change control, billing and closeout.
