Job summary

Baker Construction in Inola, OK is seeking a Project Controls Engineer III to gather and analyze project data, producing reports that track time, quantity and costs. You will work with the project team to improve profitability on the job.

You will support cost target adjustments, procurement, scheduling, and reporting; prepare weekly cost reports and monthly financials; and help manage subcontract changes and inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2 years’ related construction experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, construction experience, and/or training.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business related periodicals, journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
• Ability to effectively present information, and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to work with computers and programs (such as Timberline, Primavera, BIM, Filenet, Bindr).
• Proficiency in Microsoft software programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Gather cost information including schedule, time and quantities, and updated daily logs.
• Analyze cost information and recommend adjustments to daily cost targets and goals.
• Support project team with recommendations on cost savings through procurements, scheduling, resource management, and equipment scheduling.
• Collaborate with project team on generating change orders, budget revisions, procurements, and financial reports.
