Job summary

Tutor Perini Building Corp. in the Las Vegas, NV area is seeking a Project Engineer to support field teams on large commercial construction projects.

You will monitor site progress, review drawings, and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to keep the schedule and budget on track. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in civil engineering, 2+ years of commercial construction experience, and proficiency with MS Office, Primavera P6, Procore, CAD, and blueprint reading.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field
• Two or more years of commercial construction experience
• General Contractor work experience on a project exceeding $50 million
• Proficient with MSOffice Suite, Primavera P6 and Procore TI A preparation experience
• Experienced in blueprint reading, construction scheduling and CAD
• Previous experience as a field engineer or project engineer on commercial construction projects is preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction site daily and coordinate with contractors for deliveries
• Interpret designs and drawings for crafts installing materials
• Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interference, and errors
• Prepare field design change requisitions and “as built” drawings
• Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as status reports and punch lists
• Verify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings and specifications
• Attend meetings with other contractors, clients, or A/E representatives to coordinate design and construction efforts
• Coordinate changes in mock-ups and/or shop drawings and specifications
• Oversee Quantity Take-offs as project requires
• Oversee project related pricing/budgets
