Job summary

Raytheon, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Principal Specialist Program Cost Controls Analyst to support the SPY-6 HP&S contract within the Naval Radars subprogram. The role involves managing earned value, cost control, and financial decision support on an international program with exposure to senior leaders.

The candidate will collaborate with Program Manager, ITP Leads, CAMs, and Planning & Scheduling to drive sound financial and resource decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years of experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with EVMS and EAC processes.
• Experience using SAP financial accounting system and related reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• U.S. citizenship required to access program materials.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly earned value management cost and schedule control processes, analysis, and reporting to program leaders.
• Act as a trusted business partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive financial execution.
• Brief senior program and functional leaders on execution status with strong financial acumen.
• Analyze financial data including EVMS metrics, LREs, EACs, program investments, and manpower planning.
• Manage program baselines and ensure accurate cost charging aligned to policies.
• Drive efficiencies using up-to-date digital tools and resources.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical standards.
• Assist in startup, baseline development, IBRs, and customer surveillance coordination.
