Job summary

Raytheon, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Principal Specialist Program Cost Controls Analyst for the SPY-6 HP&S contract in the Naval Radars subprogram area. This role collaborates with program managers and control account managers to drive sound financial decisions and timely cost charging within evolving baselines.

The position requires strong expertise in EVMS, EAC, and SAP, with a track record of delivering accurate financial reporting and stakeholder briefing.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) and EAC process.
• Experience using SAP financial (or similar) accounting system and related reports.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of monthly earned value management cost and schedule control processes, analysis, and reporting to program leaders and stakeholders.
• Be a trusted business partner with all internal and external stakeholders to drive excellence in financial execution.
• Brief senior program and functional leaders on program execution status displaying exceptional financial and business acumen.
• Analyze key financial data that will enable sound program decision making; this includes earned value cost and schedule metrics, latest revised estimates (LRE), estimates at complete (EACs), program investments, and manpower planning.
• Manage and maintain program baselines and ensure accuracy and timeliness of program cost charging aligned to business directives and policies.
• Drive efficiencies, agility, and speed into financial processes utilizing the most up to date digital technology tools, training, and resources.
• Understand and execute within the guidelines of company and business policies and procedures and ethical standards.
• Aid in program startup, program baseline development, project build out, integrated baseline reviews (IBR), internal & joint surveillance reviews (JSR) coordination with customer.
