Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Business Management Analyst - Cost Control to support cost reporting for Inertial Navigation programs within Naval & Oceanic Systems. This onsite role follows a 9/80 schedule.

You will partner with program managers, CAMs and business managers to analyze cost data, prepare financial reports, forecast statements, and support cost estimate development, invoicing, negotiations, and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) with a minimum of 2 years of financial work experience.
• Experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry is preferred.
• Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare program financial reports for internal and external customers regarding cost incurrence, material tracking and labor expenses.
• Forecast financial statements (Income Statement and Balance Sheet), the AOP, and the Labor Resource Plan.
• Support cost estimate development, invoicing, customer proposals, negotiations, and audits.
• Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks including PMB development, EAC forecasting, and change management.
