Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Business Management Analyst to support and lead program financial activities for the MSTS Division. This onsite role may be hybrid and follows a 9/80 schedule with travel up to 10%.

You will collaborate with program managers, CAMs and business managers to provide financial analysis, prepare reports, assist with cost estimates, invoicing, proposals and audits, and forecast statements and AOP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or related field) with a minimum of 2 years of financial work experience.
• May consider an Associate degree plus 4 years of financial work experience.
• Basic understanding of Government Compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, chart generation, VBA macros).

Responsibilities

• Support/lead program financial activities within the MSTS Division/NOS Business Unit/Oceanic Systems Operating Unit reporting to the Program Business Manager.
• Interface with the program managers, CAMs and business managers to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements.
• Analyze cost data to prepare program financial reports for internal and external customers relative to program cost incurrence, material tracking and labor expenses to help ensure program contracts perform within negotiated parameters.
• Support cost estimate development, invoicing, customer proposals, negotiations, and various audits.
• Forecast financial statements (Income Statement and Balance Sheet), the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and the Labor Resource Plan for their program; support Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks.
