This on-site, full-time role involves preparing cost reports, forecasting budgets, and issuing invoices in alignment with contract requirements. The role requires an associate degree in accounting or 2–4 years of related experience; a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Accounting and/or 2-4 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of cost accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in non-profit sectors a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost reports and interpret contract compliance requirements.
• Develop reliable and timely forecast budgets and communicate findings to internal departments.
• Issue invoices supported by interpretation of contract requirements and data analyses.
• Navigate multiple software systems, applications, and portals to support objectives.
• Continuously evaluate and improve processes to achieve efficiency and accuracy.
• Support cost accounting work using Microsoft Excel tools.

Summary of Position:

Cost Billing Specialist applies the principles of cost accounting to provide detailed expense and revenue information beyond what is supplied by the general ledge.

• Prepare and analyze cost reports and correctly interpret the financial compliance requirements in contract guidelines.
• Develop reliable and timely forecast budgets as required and communicate findings to internal departments and program staff.
• Issue invoices supported by interpretation of contract requirements and schedules, data, and analysis.
• Expertly navigate multiple software systems, applications, and portals to support objectives.
• Continuously evaluate and improve processes to achieve efficiency and accuracy
• Support cost accounting work using Microsoft Excel tools.

• Associates degree in Accounting and/or 2-4 years of directly related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is general preferred.
• 2 -4 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis
