Job summary

LHH is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to hire an experienced Cost Accountant to join the accounting team. This role offers visibility across the business and carries a 10% bonus in addition to base salary.

The candidate will manage job costs, analyze BOMs, perform variance analysis, and support inventory accounting. Collaboration with operations and finance teams is essential for driving cost visibility and informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience preferred.
• Strong cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with job costing, BOM analysis, variance analysis, inventory, and cost tracking.
• Strong analytical skills to explain cost variances and trends.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Ideally 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Strong cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with job costing, BOM analysis, variance analysis, inventory, and cost tracking
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and explain cost variances
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with both finance and operational teams
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively in a growing environment
