Job description

Help Build the Financial Foundation of a Next-Generation AI Infrastructure Company!!

CSuite Financial Partners / Ravix Group has been retained by our client, Limiting Factor Group (LFG), a Menlo Park-based AI infrastructure company, to identify a talented Cost Accounting Analyst to join its rapidly expanding accounting and finance organization.

$400 million in newly raised capital. A $2 billion valuation. A founding team that includes key architects of xAI's AI computing infrastructure. And extraordinary ambitions for growth.

LFG designs, builds, and manages the critical power infrastructure needed to fuel the next generation of artificial intelligence. Combining proven technical expertise, substantial financial backing, and an ambitious vision for the future, the company is positioning itself at the forefront of one of the most consequential infrastructure expansions of our time.

As LFG accelerates its infrastructure development across multiple sites and projects, we're seeking a technically strong, analytical Cost Accounting Analyst to help establish financial visibility, cost accuracy, and disciplined accounting processes across its growing operations.

This is an opportunity to join a foundational accounting team, work alongside accomplished leadership, and participate in the potential long-term value creation of a rapidly scaling AI infrastructure company.

What You'll Do
  • Record and manage construction-in-progress (CIP) accounting, partnering with the Controller to determine appropriate capitalization versus expense treatment under US GAAP.
  • Prepare and record accruals for completed but uninvoiced construction work, coordinating with Construction and Procurement teams.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules related to project and operating costs.
  • Track and analyze project expenditures against budgets by site, project, and cost code.
  • Analyze operating costs, including power, maintenance, and labor, identifying and explaining significant variances.
  • Collaborate with Construction, Procurement, and Finance leadership to improve cost visibility and financial reporting.
  • Prepare supporting documentation and respond to audit requests involving project costs and capitalization.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably involving project cost accounting, construction-in-progress, or complex operational expenditures.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, accrual accounting, cost allocations, and capitalization principles.
  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel/spreadsheet capabilities.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, including billing modules and accounting-related workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and analyze financial variances.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently across multiple projects.
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to a rapidly growing organization.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary and travel occasionally.
Highly Valued:

CPA certification or progress toward licensure, experience with construction or project-based accounting, capital-intensive operations, and multi-site cost tracking.

Industry-specific experience is not required. We're seeking capable accounting professionals with strong technical fundamentals, intellectual curiosity, and the ambition to grow alongside the business.

Base Salary:

$100,000–$140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Additional rewards include eligibility for company equity or long-term cash incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, short-term disability and life insurance, three weeks of accrued paid vacation, 10+ paid holidays, and paid sick leave.

Location & Work Arrangement

LFG values in-person collaboration as it builds its foundational finance organization. However, fully remote arrangements may be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates who demonstrate outstanding technical capabilities and alignment with the company's needs.

Occasional travel to other company locations may be required.
