Job summary

Talon HeadHunters, partnering with a growing third-party manufacturer in Hialeah, seeks a hands-on Cost Accountant to join the finance team. You’ll work where finance meets production, analyzing costs, driving savings, and ensuring accuracy in month-end close.

This role covers fixed assets, depreciation, CIP, budgeting and forecasting, GAAP compliance, and support for internal and external audits. You’ll collaborate with operations to improve processes and reporting, with room to grow as the

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or inventory-based accounting experience required.
• Strong Excel skills: pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• ERP experience: SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar.
• Solid grasp of GAAP.

What you’ll own:

• Cost and variance analysis that drives real production decisions and savings
• Fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and construction in progress (CIP)

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (an Associate’s plus solid experience works too)
• Manufacturing OR inventory-based accounting experience (required)
• Strong Excel skills: pivot tables and VLOOKUP come naturally to you
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar)
• A solid grasp of GAAP
