Job summary

L&R Distributors, Inc. is seeking a Field Merchandiser to service retail stores across Ohio and nearby states. The role focuses on stocking, organizing, and displaying products, and supporting store resets by implementing planograms and relocating products.

This position offers up to 30 hours per week with potential to transition to full-time after meeting weekly hours. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401K for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets, planograms and store footage is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to safely use a ladder or step stool to access higher fixtures, signage, and products on elevated shelves.
• Ability to conduct physical work, frequently lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for required inventory according to store guidelines using company tablet and scanner (Repsly).
• Service store routes per assigned call frequencies, coordinating with the District Manager.
• Follow store visit process including merchandising delivery, task forms, and photos.
• Implement planograms to reset cosmetic displays according to instructions.
• Ensure resets meet standards and timelines.
