Job summary

L&R is the largest distributor and the 6th largest purchaser of cosmetics in the United States, serving retailers across multiple regions. We are seeking a Field Merchandiser to ensure proper stocking, organization, and display of products at assigned stores, supporting store resets and executing planograms with accuracy.

The role covers Indianapolis, Shelbyville, Franklin, and Columbus, IN, with up to 40 hours weekly and potential path to full-time after 60 days with 30+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets, planograms and store footage is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for inventory using company tablet and scanner (Repsly).
• Service store routes as per assigned call frequencies with the District Manager.
• Implement planograms and resets to meet standards and timelines.
• Install and adjust shelving, hooks and fixtures to planogram specs.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, invoicing, exchanges, and returns.
• Communicate professionally with store management and associates.
• Photograph departments for surveys and store issue resolution.
