Job summary

L&R is a leading cosmetics distributor seeking a Field Merchandiser to service retail stores such as Albertsons and Kroger across the West, Central, and East Coast regions.

The role ensures products are stocked, organized, and displayed, supports store resets with planograms, relocates products, and sets shelves to meet company and retailer standards. Hours vary with up to 15 hours weekly in specific territories.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets and planograms is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge a plus.
• Ability to safely use a ladder or step stool to access higher fixtures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for required inventory according to store guidelines, using tablet and scanner with Repsly.
• Service store routes according to the assigned call frequencies, working with the District Manager.
• Follow store visit process, complete task forms, take photos, and maintain stock levels.
• Implement planograms and schematics to reset cosmetic displays and fixtures.
• Ensure resets meet L&R standards and project timelines.
• Install and adjust shelving, hooks, and fixtures per planogram specs.
• Process customer returns following returns guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, invoicing, exchanges, and returns.
• Communicate professionally with store personnel.
• Verify merchandise shipments upon receipt and check in by store personnel.
• Conduct store surveys and audits and take photos to solve issues.
• Service additional stores as needed.
