Job summary

L&R Distributors, Inc. is seeking a part-time to full-time Field Merchandiser to service retail stores across the Cumberland area in MD.

You will ensure products are stocked, displayed, and refreshed, support store resets, and implement planograms using a tablet and Repsly. Territories include Cumberland, Keyser, LaVale; hours up to 15 per week, with shifts between 6 AM and 5 PM and a late drop-dead time.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets, planograms and store footage is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for required inventory according to store guidelines using a company tablet and scanner (Repsly).
• Service store routes per assigned call frequencies with the District Manager.
• Follow store visit process including merchandising, filling task forms, photos, and stocking per orders.
• Implement planograms and schematics to reset displays and fixtures per instructions.
• Ensure resets meet standards and timelines.
• Install and adjust shelving and fixtures to match planograms.
• Process customer returns per guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and invoicing/returns policies.
• Communicate with store staff at each visit.
• Verify shipments with store personnel.
• Provide professional communication with store management.
• Clean and organize displays.
• Conduct surveys and audits with photos to address issues.
• Service additional stores as needed.
