Job summary

L&R DISTRIBUTORS is seeking a Field Merchandiser to stock, organize, and display products in assigned retail locations across Charlottesville, Lexington, Waynesboro, and Alexandria, VA. You will implement planograms, relocate products, and ensure displays meet company and retailer standards.

This role offers up to 40 hours weekly, mileage reimbursement, and paid drive time. Part-time to full-time potential after 60 days with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets and planograms.
• Retail sales and inventory knowledge is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place orders using a company tablet and Repsly software.
• Service store routes according to assigned call frequencies.
• Follow store visit process, document tasks and take photos.
• Accurately implement planograms and schematics to reset displays.
• Ensure resets meet L&R standards and timelines.
• Install shelving and fixtures per planogram specifications.
• Process returns per guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, invoicing, exchanges and returns.
• Communicate professionally with store staff after visits.
• Keep display areas clean and organized.
• Conduct store surveys and audits as requested.
