Job summary

L&R DISTRIBUTORS is seeking a Field Merchandiser to ensure cosmetics, toys, school supplies and more are properly stocked and displayed. You will support store resets, implement planograms, relocate products, and maintain compliant displays across assigned locations in California.

The role involves up to 24 hours per week with potential full-time transition after meeting 30+ hours weekly. Must be comfortable with tablets and smartphone tech and work with Repsly software.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets, planograms and store footage is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for inventory using a tablet and scanner with Repsly.
• Service store routes per call frequencies with the District Manager.
• Follow store visit process and document tasks with photos.
• Implement planograms to reset displays per instructions.
• Ensure resets meet standards and timelines.
• Install shelving, hooks, and fixtures as needed.
• Process customer returns per guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, invoicing, exchanges.
• Communicate with store staff at each visit.
• Verify shipments and liaise with store personnel.
• Maintain organized displays and conduct store surveys.
