Job summary

L&R Distributors seeks a Field Merchandiser to stock, display, and reset products at retail locations in Richmond, Chester, and Chesterfield, VA. You will execute planograms, merchandise displays, and ensure adherence to retailer standards while coordinating with the District Manager.

Hours max 25 per week, with shifts between 6 AM and 5 PM and potential transition to full-time after meeting 30+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Retail merchandising experience is required.
• Familiarity with resets and planograms is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Place inventory orders using a tablet and scanner.
• Service store routes with the District Manager guidance.
• Follow store visit processes and merchandising deliveries.
• Implement planograms and resets per instructions.
• Ensure resets meet standards and timelines.
• Install shelving and fixtures as needed.
• Process returns per guidelines.
• Communicate with store staff after each visit.
• Photograph departments for surveys as requested.
