Job summary

Von Maur, Inc. is seeking a Cosmetic Counter Manager to lead the cosmetics operation and inspire a team of beauty advisors to achieve personal and counter goals. You will represent America’s Leading Department Store and drive exceptional customer service.

You will motivate staff, develop relationships to grow the counter business, and execute duties of a cosmetics sales associate while meeting sales targets. You will plan events and accommodate day, evening, and weekend shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Motivate associates to deliver outstanding customer service – train, coach and lead by example
• Develop relationships to grow your counter business
• Execute all duties of a cosmetics sales associate and meet individual sales and account goals
• Assess associate performance to improve the quality of service the customer receives, increase sales, and meet counter goals
• Plan and execute successful cosmetic events and gift with purchase events
• Be available to work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts
