Job summary

RHM Real Estate Group in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Certified Occupancy Specialist / Assistant Property Manager (COS/APM) to support the Property Manager in daily operations of our apartment community.

You will process leases, input data into Yardi, manage files, and assist with HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8 compliance, while helping reduce vacancies and deliver excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management and affordable housing programs.
• Understanding of HUD regulations and LIHTC/Section 8 processes.
• Proficiency with Yardi and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager to maximize occupancy and uphold professional standards.
• Input lease data into Yardi and ensure timely paperwork.
• Maintain organized resident files and process service requests with maintenance teams.
• Assist with HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8 compliance and annual reporting.
• Support audits, inspections, and lender compliance reporting.
• Conduct daily property walks and promote safety and appearance.
