Job summary

RHM Real Estate Group in Cleveland, OH seeks a Certified Occupancy Specialist / Assistant Property Manager (COS/APM) to support the Property Manager in maximizing occupancy and ensuring compliant operations for affordable housing communities.

You will input lease data in Yardi, oversee TIC/Section 8 processes, maintain resident files, and assist with audits, inspections, and monthly reporting, while building strong resident relations and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• COS certification strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of property management or affordable housing experience.
• Proficiency with Yardi and MS Office; HUD regulations familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist property manager to maximize occupancy and professional representation.
• Input leases and documents into Yardi promptly and accurately.
• Maintain resident files and process work orders and inquiries.
• Process Section 8 and LIHTC TIC; ensure HUD program compliance.
• Prepare EIV reports, audits, inspections, and lender reporting.
• Coordinate move-ins/outs and training of staff; support daily operations.
