Job summary

Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. is seeking a corrosion maintenance technician in Weatherford, OK, to apply corrosion knowledge to repair, install and troubleshoot equipment across gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

You will perform cathodic protection design, survey readings and corrosion control tasks in a field environment. The role requires knowledge of regulatory requirements, safe operations, and the ability to train others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to train other technicians and/or sign off on qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, operate, inspect and maintain cathodic protection systems in assigned pipeline segments, stations or facilities.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA requirements and complete required documentation.
• Investigate corrosion conditions and ensure compliance of pipelines and facilities.
• Perform pipe-to-soil surveys, readings, current flows and related corrosion control activities.
• Generate and maintain reports on rectifiers, bonds and corrosion control activities.
• Read maps, as-builts and PLDs; ensure safety PPE and procedures are followed.
