Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc., a leader in evidenced-based rehabilitation, is seeking a Transport Officer for GEO Secured Services in Denver, CO. This role involves securely transporting detainees, maintaining vehicle safety and compliance with DOT requirements, and supporting management with problem-solving during operations.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, relevant law enforcement or military certification, and a valid CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL license preferred; obtain within 6 months.
• Certification in Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military required.
• Two years driving in transportation capacity.

Responsibilities

• Transport detainees between destinations and ensure vehicle safety.
• Review vehicle inspection reports and summaries for management.
• Maintain proper permits, licenses, and safety equipment.
• Track DOT Hours of Service on ELDs.
• Support interview/screening of Transport Officers.
• Ensure compliance with safety measures per PBNDS/FBNDS.
