GEO Corrections & Detentions in Colorado is seeking a Transport Officer to securely move detainees between destinations and ensure vehicles are safe and well-maintained. You will review inspection reports, verify permits, log DOT HOS on electronic devices, and support hiring and training processes.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 3+ years in law enforcement or detention, a clean driving record, and CDL eligibility. This role may require overtime and extended travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in law enforcement or detention.
• CDL status or certification preferred; must obtain CDL within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Transport detainees securely between destinations.
• Ensure vehicles are safe and properly maintained.
• Review vehicle inspection reports and licenses.
• Log DOT hours and requirements; maintain accurate paperwork.
• Assist in interviewing and screening Transport Officers.
