Job summary

TKC Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Telecom Technician to serve as the primary interface for facility system inquiries, manage inmate inquiries and responses, and repair or replace broken telephone sets.

This role requires maintaining weekly updates on system status and collaborating with facility security and investigative staff. The position is based in a correctional facility, with potential overtime and non-standard schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Customer service experience required.
• 3+ years demonstrated skills in a high tech environment emphasizing hardware, software and networking.

Responsibilities

• Provide Administrative and Technical Support to the Jail.
• Interact professionally with customers (inmates and staff) to foster positive relationships.
• Track and manage inmate inquiries, grievances, complaints and responses.
• Repair or replace broken telephone sets and provide site status updates.
• Assist facility investigative personnel with reporting needs and tasks.
• Create trouble tickets and track repair/equipment requests.
• Provide weekly updates of phone system status and repairs.
