Job summary

LaSalle Corrections seeks a Lieutenant to supervise security operations in a corrections facility. You will schedule, train, and lead staff, maintain order among inmates, and ensure compliance with post orders and safety procedures.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in a correctional setting, 1 year in supervision, and be TCOLE certified or able to obtain the jailers license. This is an on-site, full-time position with hourly pay of $26.68.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a correctional setting.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be TCOLE certified or able to obtain TCOLE Jailers License.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise security operations and staff.
• Schedule, train, and supervise staff; maintain order among inmates.
• Prepare records and reports; maintain logs and inmate counts.
• Enforce post orders; supervise shift assignments and daily routines.
• Respond to emergencies and manage disciplinary actions.
• Oversee custody and security during transportation of inmates.
