Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with recreation/physical education focus
• Equivalent combination of experience and training
• Graduation within 3 months of qualifying degree

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead structured and general recreational activities
• Provide coaching, guidance, and explanations of program expectations
• Assess inmate interests and review program effectiveness to suggest improvements
• Maintain reports, statistics, and documentation that meet agency standards
• Supervise the setup, storage, and upkeep of recreational areas and equipment

Education

Bachelor's degree in recreation and physical education
