Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a Mental Health Worker/Technician at State Correctional Institution, Muncy, PA. This full-time role offers an evenings shift (Mon-Fri 2:30-11pm, alternate weekends/holidays) with compensation of $16.50 - $18 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Current driver's license.
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician, EMT, or activities technician preferred.
• Prior experience in mental health, drug/alcohol rehabilitation, or intellectual disability services preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• The Mental Health Worker will provide routine supervision of offenders and informal education in routine activities and daily living.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings, implement assigned interventions, document functions and inform staff of significant changes.
• Assist in facilitating group therapeutic sessions.
