Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections, to lead mental health services at SCI Greene. You will supervise clinical staff, oversee psychological evaluations, and guide treatment decisions for inmates with a focus on quality care and compliance.

Responsibilities include directing programs, setting clinical standards, and testifying in legal proceedings as needed. Full-time schedule and no telework with a salary that may be non-negotiable in some cases.

Qualifications

• One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration).
• One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities or behavioral dysfunction.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Supervision: Direct psychological staff, guide diagnostic work, and support therapeutic interventions for inmates
• Program Leadership: Develop policies, integrate new procedures, and lead key mental health service initiatives
• Committee Oversight: Chair review teams, coordinate mental health discussions, and support critical response efforts
• Competency Management: Set clinical standards, evaluate measures, and update stability ratings as needed
• Diagnostic Review: Assess test interpretations and prepare comprehensive psychological and behavioral reports
• Specialized Consultation: Advise staff on mental health treatment needs, support specialized units, discuss management plans, and testify in legal proceedings
