Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Corrections seeks a Licensed Psychologist Manager to lead psychological services at SCI Pine Grove, guiding clinical programming and staff performance while coordinating treatment for inmates with diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice psychology in PA or eligibility for PA licensure within one year.
• At least one year of experience treating inmates or individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, or behavioral dysfunction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise psychological staff, oversee evaluations, and guide counseling activities.
• Develop and coordinate policies, counseling programs, and participate in research efforts.
• Lead institutional committees related to reception, suicide review, psychiatric care, and incident support.
• Establish competencies, review measures, and prepare diagnostic and progress reports.
• Advise on behavioral management, collaborate with treatment teams, and support staff discussions.
• Provide expert testimony and ensure accreditation standards are met.
