Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania psychology license or eligibility for PA licensure within one year of employment.
• One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in treating inmates or individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities or behavioral dysfunction.
• Experience supervising clinical staff and coordinating treatment programs within a corrections/forensic setting.

Responsibilities

• Staff supervision: oversee psychological personnel, conduct screenings, guide evaluations and supervise therapy.
• Program leadership: develop policies, implement procedures, manage counseling programs and support research.
• Committee oversight: lead review teams, coordinate clinical discussions and manage critical incident responses.
• Clinical standards: establish competencies, review measures and maintain accurate diagnostic reporting.
• Mental health support: advise staff on treatment issues and inmate adjustment plans.
• Accreditation compliance: ensure ACA standards compliance and perform related duties.
