Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse to provide general and emergency nursing care in a corrections facility, while maintaining security standards. The role requires an active LPN license and at least 1 year of corrections experience.

Compensation includes competitive pay with weekly paychecks, health/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan. Location details include Harvey, IL, and Chicago, IL with contract and travel options.

Qualifications

• Current Practical Nursing License in applicable state.
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory sections.
• Deliver emergency nursing care as needed.
• Maintain facility security standards during care delivery.
