Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse to provide general and emergency nursing care in a Corrections Facility, while ensuring security standards are maintained. The role requires a valid LPN license and eligibility to practice in the applicable state.

Qualifications

• Current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state.
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and emergency nursing care in the Corrections Facility.
• Maintain facility security standards during care.
• Interact with adults and children in custody on a daily basis.
