Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse to provide general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory sections of the facility, while upholding security standards. This travel position serves in Las Cruces, NM and surrounding correctional settings.

The ideal candidate holds a current LPN license in the applicable state, has at least 1 year of corrections experience (preferred), and maintains CPR and health certifications as required.

Qualifications

• Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state.
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
