Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse to provide general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory sections of a corrections facility, ensuring security standards are maintained. This travel assignment supports multiple sites in New Mexico.

Qualifications

• Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state.
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Corrections LPN provides general and emergency nursing care to adults and children in custody, while maintaining facility security standards.

Job description

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility security standards.
