Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse to provide general and emergency nursing care within the Medical and Ambulatory section of a corrections facility, while upholding security standards. The role requires a current LPN license and adherence to federal, state, and local requirements.

Minimum one year corrections experience is preferred; CPR may be required, and a health certificate must be kept up to date.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state.
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
