Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Corrections LPN in Spruce Pine, NC for a travel assignment. You will work in the Medical and Ambulatory sections of the Corrections Facility, providing general and emergency nursing care while adhering to security standards.

The role requires an active Practical Nursing License, with at least 1 year in corrections preferred, CPR if applicable, and compliance with health and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state.
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility security standards.
