Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Corrections LPN for a travel assignment in Jefferson City, MO. The nurse provides general and emergency care to individuals in custody within the Corrections Facility, while upholding security standards.

Requirements include a current LPN license, a minimum of one year in corrections (preferred), CPR if applicable, TB/PPD or chest x-ray as required, and a health certificate. The position is 36 hours per week at a rate of pay of $1600 per week.

Qualifications

• Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state.
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Provides general and emergency nursing care in the Corrections Facility within the Medical and Ambulatory sections.
• Maintains facility security standards while delivering patient care.
• Collaborates with custody and healthcare staff to coordinate services.
