Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Corrections LPN for a travel assignment in Raleigh, NC. The role involves delivering general and emergency nursing care to adults and youth in custody within the Medical and Ambulatory areas of the facility, while upholding security protocols.

The position is 36 hours per week with a pay rate of $1519 per week. Requirements include an active Practical Nursing license in the applicable state, at least 1 year in corrections preferred, CPR if applicable, and routine health

Qualifications

• Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Provide general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility security standards
• Maintain facility security standards and participate in daily medical operations within the Corrections setting
