Job summary
Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, has a Corrections LPN travel position in Butner, NC. You will provide general and emergency nursing care in the Corrections Facility while maintaining security standards.
The role requires a valid LPN license, at least one year in corrections if possible, CPR as applicable, TB/PPD or chest x-ray, and a current health certificate in line with contract or regulation. Travel assignment with 40 hours per week.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state.
- Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred.
- Current CPR certification if applicable.
- TB Questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
- Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Provide general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility.
- Maintain facility security standards while delivering care.
- Interact closely with adults and children in custody on a daily basis.
